The Hot Pepper Festival has been a cherished tradition in Palestine, TX for over 30 years. What started as aw friendly fundraiser between local fire departments has grown into a major fall festival that brings nearly 10,000 visitors to our historic downtown each year.

Thanks to recent upgrades at the pavilion, we’re turning up the heat with a brand-new Chili Cook-Off! This homestyle competition allows beans and will include both official judging and a People’s Choice Award — so sign up to come cook your infamous chili under our covered pavilion.
